Many thanks for being such accommodating, wonderful hosts during our NHL campaign in North Harbour over the recent 9 days.

 

To host a team of 18 demanding young men plus 5 management people, and not have one single problem or issue is nothing short of outstanding. Every request of mine, was handled with a smile, nothing was a problem, and you and your staff actually went out of your way to offer solutions to our requests.

 

I have given your accommodation a major recommendation to Canterbury Hockey for future teams, and I would have no hesitation in recommending you to any other sports teams or individuals looking for a place to stay in Takapuna.

 

Thanks again and hope to see you again in the future.

We had a self catering one bedroom apartment for two nights. The best apartment we have stayed in for the past week. Excellent friendly, helpful, accommodating staff and very well serviced rooms. Gotta love the medium fridge with decent size freezer, full oven and brilliant array of pots, pans, bowls and cooking utensils. The apartment has modern neutral decor  which is very pleasing for all. They are very, very clean and have little extras in the bathroom and have good coffee sachets. Even green tea. The girls had a ball in the heated pool with various toys, flippers, noodles to play with. A really lovely paved and grass tropical area with plenty of space to sit at modern outdoor furniture, umbrellas for the sun conscious and loungers whilst the children play in the pool. The spa was also a big hit with the family There is also an area to have a lovely bar-b-q and a play area for the children. Nothing was ever a problem for the friendly, happy and helpful owners and family. Parking at the front of each apartment. Security door locks. Very close to Takapuna and facilities. Devonport not far and we caught the ferry to the city for a great day out. I would absolutely recommend this Lodge 100% and would stay again. Alot of family love, care and pride goes into running a fantastic business. Thank you for a fantastic experience and our girls didn't want to leave.

We stayed at Takapuna motor lodge for the first time and with friends in the two bedroom apartment down the back of the lodge. We found the lady on arrival very friendly and helpful ,the apartment was very clean and spacious. Loved how we had our own balcony and the apartment was quiet and had a very well stocked cupboards with glasses and mugs etc, The beds were super comfy and we had a good nights sleep. The lodge was walking distance to shops and eating places and also the supermarket. We would happily stay here again.

We stayed at this motel over the Xmas period. We didn't know what to expect on arrival but were very quickly pleasantly surprised. The staff were fantastic and really went out of their way to accommodate our needs (2 adults and 5 children). Our children loved the pool and spa and we all enjoyed a good night's sleep on the comfortable beds. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back!
